Gunung Walat, Sukabumi – Meeting and Travel for Retired Staff Association of IPB took place on April 10-11, 2012 at GWUF.
The work meeting was attended by 40 members of the board of the Retired Association of IPB. The meeting was to formulate a community agenda and work program plan for the next year.
“The purpose of this activity is to establish brotherhood intimacy between pensioners”, said Prof. Soedarmadi as Chairman of Retired Staff Association of IPB.
Activities carried out during GWUF included internal work meetings, presentation of the current conditions of GWUF by the Director of GWUF, Ir. Budi Prihanto, MS and Business Development Director, Dr. Nandi Kosmaryandi, live music, morning gymnastics, and observation of forest conditions.
In this activity, tree seedlings were also planted by all retirees in the GWUF area as mementoes and noble act whose benefits could later be used for future generations.
At the end of this activity, there was also health training by Ir. M. Agus Setiana, MS, IPB Faculty of Animal Husbandry lecturer, who has provided many seminars and training in the health. The pensioner enthusiastically participated in this training because of the many benefits of the knowledge and expected to be able to maintain health and fitness at a late age.
“It is amazing and we’re very grateful to Mr. Budi Prihanto and crew with a special welcome and hopefully the management continues to be even better”, said Prof. Soedarmadi at the end of the activity.
