Gunung Walat, Sukabumi – The Kulawarga E16 ± (IPB Faculty of Forestry Alumni Batch 16th) joint event was held on 11-12 February 2012 in Gunung Walat University Forest (GWUF), Sukabumi.

This event is a meeting event for the 16th generation of the Faculty of Forestry of IPB called Laskar Gemuruh. The theme that was carried out was realizing a sense of kinship, brotherhood, and friendship.

The event was attended by 33 Laskar Gemuruh along with their families so that a total of 82 people attended.

The event began with registration at 13.00 followed by a photo session. The event was opened with remarks from the committee chairman, Ir. Untung S. Andriyanto, M.Sc, and continued by remarks by GWUF Executive Director Ir. Budi Prihanto, MS.

In this event, there was an election of the E16 Gemuruh Foundation to choose a new chairperson of the foundation, that was Bambang Widyantoro, Teguh Kisdarmanto as Secretary, and Siti Chadidjah Kaniawati Exchequer.

The event was also interspersed with a religious speech to the Gemuruh and their families by Ustadz Dr. Kiai Hasanudin Basuni from Al Hasanah Islamic Boarding School, Bekasi City with the theme of friendship.

In that event, a commitment emerged from the E16 Foundation to contribute funds for renovating the mosque in GWUF amounting to one hundred million rupiahs. E16 Gemuruh Foundation will also make deer cages around basecamp GWUF and donate 8 deer to care.
