Observation of Characteristics of Wild Boar by Students of Department of Natural Resource Conservation and Ecotourism (NRCE), Faculty of Forestry, IPB

Gunung Walat, Sukabumi – Observation of Characteristics of Wild Boar by Students of Department of Natural Resource Conservation and Ecotourism (NRCE), Faculty of Forestry, IPB took place on 29-30 October 2011 in the Gunung Walat University Forest (GWUF) in Sukabumi.

This practice was attended by 11 students from the NRCE Department of IPB Faculty of Forestry.

“This activity is part of the practicum of wildlife ecology courses at the NRCE Department “, said Anugro Purwidiatmoko as the activity coordinator.

“We want to explore more extensively about wild boar in GWUF, collect data on models of wild boar pits and how the vegetation around wild boar, etc.”, he added.

Activities held are observation and sweeping in the northern part of GWUF with many boars looking for food and finding the karst cave to find a place for bathing.
