Gunung Walat, Sukabumi – Field Work Practice of SMK Kehutanan Negeri Kadipaten had been held on February 1 – March 2, 2017 in Gunung Walat University Forest, Sukabumi.

This practice was attended by first-grade students of the 9th batch of SMK Kehutanan Negeri Kadipaten.

During their stay at Gunung Walat, the practised activities included Forest Protection, Dendrology, Silvika, Silviculture, Measurement and Mapping, Wood Measuring Science, Measurement, Testing of Logs, and Community Forestry.

The mentors were directly from the lecturer of Faculty of Forestry, IPB who was responsible for each different material and mentoring meanwhile the field activity was guided by an assistant lecturer.

It was hoped that after attending the street vendors, students could apply the knowledge at least when they were in the second grade they would already have a description of the field of work they would hold later after graduation.
