Emergency Response Team Training (Tetada) IPB Students Batch 1 by the Directorate of Student Affairs of IPB

Gunung Walat, Sukabumi – Emergency Response Team Training (Tetada) IPB Students Batch 1 by the Directorate of Student Affairs of IPB was held on 17-18 December 2016 in Gunung Walat University Forest, Sukabumi.

This training was attended by representatives of the Student Welfare Department (Kesma) of IPB Student Executive Board (BEM) and IPB students.

According to the Head of Sub-Directorate for Student Welfare, Directorate of Student Affairs (Ditmawa) of IPB, Dr. Katrin Rosita, the formation and training was only the first time conducted and aimed to form mentality and character as an emergency response team and build various skills. Characteristics of the emergency response team are must be willing to work in a team, have creativity, trust in the team, good communication, and have the confidence that in the most difficult situation they will overcome.

“It is very important because it is expected that this team will help the IPB team for unexpected things so that we can overcome because of the collaboration within students” she said.

Katrin Rosita explained during the training at Gunung Walat, the participants were guided by BASARNAS (National Disaster Agency), The National Air Force, and Scout representatives and supported by the facilities owned by Gunung Walat.

“So we hope that Gunung Walat will always be able to provide the best service so that this collaboration can continue in the future” explained Katrin Rosita.
