Industrial Work Practices of Adi Sanggoro Vocational High School Bogor

Gunung Walat, Sukabumi – Industrial Work Practices of Adi Sanggoro Vocational High School Bogor took place on May 21-26, 2012 at GWUF.

This Industrial Work Practice (Prakerin) was attended by 82 students of 11th grade of Adi Sanggoro Vocational High School.

“The prakerin aims to prepare students to go on workshops in mining, plantation companies, and industrial forests companies in Kalimantan and Sulawesi so that they can quickly adapt to existing skills and quickly absorb enterprise applications”, said Endim, B.Sc, Head of Survey and Mapping Programs of Adi Sanggoro Vocational High School.

Activities carried out during this 5-day practice include topography analysis for mining exploration, blocking area, information for the plantation sector, inventory for the industrial forest, measurement of the frame of basic horizontal, structuring the outer boundaries of GWUF, reconstructing triangulation points with reference to GWUF control points, etc.

“GWUF natural resources for practical work are really complete, infrastructure and facilities are also adequate. In the future, we will continue this year which has been done in GWUF so that there is sustainability with the interests of the GWUF management so that Adi Sanggoro Vocational High School has a contribution to GWUF. There will be school collaboration and GWUF in surveying and mapping (geodesy) so that the results can be used by other parties who need it”  said Endim, B.Sc.
