Gunung Walat, Sukabumi – Industrial Work Practice of the Kadipaten Forestry Vocational High School took place on May 19 June 3, 2012, in Gunung Walat University Forest.

Industrial Work Practices (Prakerin) is a part of the subject of land clearing and forest arrangement. Prakerin is conducted in industrial companies or agencies related to forestry such as Gunung Walat University Forest. The Prakerin is attended by 64 11th grade students and supervised by 4 teachers.

“Every semester, industrial work practices are conducted with the aim of getting experience outside of school”, said Titin Suhartini, S.Hut, as the teacher of the Kadipaten Forestry Vocational High School.

The Prakerin conducted in GWUF is 70% practices on forest arrangement, such as the reconstruction of boundary pal, structuring of GWUF plots, and the opening of the area namely make road trajectories, planning on maps, making bends, making lengthwise, and crossing the road.

In this Prakerin there was also sharing and discussion as well as the introduction of GWUF by the GWUF Executive Director, Ir. Budi Prihanto, MS.
