GWUF territory is regularly used as site for practical classes by  students of Faculty of Forestry (IPB) and other Faculties in IPB;  students of other univcrsities from Indonesia or abroad, such as from Japan (Tokyo Univ., Kagoshima Univ., Otsunomi Univ., Kyoto Univ., Niigata Univ.), Korea (Seoul Nat. Univ., Chungnam Nat. Univ., Kangwon Nat. Univ., Chungbuk Nat. Univ., Dongguk Univ.), Malaysia (UPM), Germany (Goettingen Univ.),  United States of America (Texas El Paso Univ.) and others.

Environmental education program for students of various schools in Sukabumi, Bogor, Jakarta, Bandung and other cities are also routinely conducted every year in GWUF territory and the surrounding areas.

Visits to GWUF for tourism purposes are also frequently conducted by families, hobby communities, young people groups, student groups, company employees and others.

Besides that, every week end, the GWUF territory is used as recreation ground by local people for sports, casual walk, and picnic.
